School Transport

The school does not provide transport to students. However below are links to some information on buses that do service the school area. You will need to make contact directly to confirm access for your area and in certain cases that there are places available.

School Uniform

Junior students

- Simple, not expensive, grey trousers or knee length skirt.

- Navy blue, knitted jumper with school crest.

- White shirt

Senior students

- Simple, not expensive, grey trousers or knee length skirt.

- Teal blue, knitted jumper with school crest.

- White shirt.

· All students to wear polishable brown, navy or black, flat shoes or dubes.

· Leggings, hoodies, cords, jeans, logos, stripes, team shirts, tracksuit bottoms, boots and runners are not acceptable.

· Students who wish to do so may purchase and wear in class, on cold days, a school crested fleece. Other jackets, jumpers, hoodies etc. are not permitted to be worn in class.

· On days when students have PE, they may come to school in their PE gear. All students are required to wear the navy and teal school crested tracksuit top, navy school crested tracksuit bottoms and school crested T-shirt.

· Students representing the school at sporting events should wear their uniform to school. They should, at the time nominated by the teacher involved, change into the relevant sports gear, which they should change out of and back into their uniform before returning to class.

· The uniform must be worn appropriately.

The school will arrange a mobile shop to attend the school grounds during the summer (usually mid-August) alternatively you can view / purchase the items on their website www.schooluniformsdirect.ie.

Book Rental Scheme

The Government is funding book rental for 1st, 2nd and 3rd year students for the academic year 2024/2025. This will include books, stationary, class materials and school journal. Where a book/journal/equipment is lost or damaged, this must be replaced by parents.

The school operates a book rental scheme for senior cycle students. This means that in 2024/25 the book rental fee for 5th year students is €200.00, and this covers all the textbook requirements for the 2 years of the Senior cycle (5th and 6th year). This fee does not include copies, exam papers or class materials.

These books will be given to students by their teachers when they return to school in August 2024

Additional Contributions

Junior cycle - There is a fee of €25.00 each year and this covers insurance and locker (1st, 2nd and 3rd Years)

Senior Cycle - There is a fee of €50 each year and this covers journal, locker, photocopying and insurance (TY 5th and 6th Years)
