External Wellbeing Supports
We are very fortunate to have wonderful support within the community through the Curragh Family Resource Centre. A vartiety of support groups, activities and therapists are available for students and their families. They are located on 1 Griffith Road & McSwiney Road, in the Curragh Camp. Other Mental Health Supports & Helplines:
  • Jigsaw (The National Centre for Youth Mental Health): Provides free, confidential, youth-friendly support for mental health in 18 locations and online for young people aged 12–25. Visit jigsaw.ie/ to book online.
  • Childline (ISPCC): Offers a 24/7 listening service via phone (1800 666 666), text (50101), and web chat for children up to 18.
  • Text About It (50808): A free, 24/7, anonymous text service for people in crisis. Text HELLO to 50808.
  • Pieta: Provides free support and counseling for suicide prevention and self-harm. Contact 1800 247 247 or text HELP to 51444.
  • Teenline: A 24/7, confidential listening service for young people, available at 1800 833 634.
  • Turn2me: Offers online counseling and support groups.
Information & Community Support
  • SpunOut.ie: A national youth information website providing info on mental health, relationships, and wellbeing.
  • Youth Work Ireland: Offers programs like "Be Well" to help young people manage anxiety.
  • Barnardos: Provides specialized support for children and families facing adversity.

Families can also contact their GP/Doctor for support and for referrals to other specialised services.
