All Junior Cycle students in the Curragh Post Primary School study a short course in Physical Education which will appear on the students’ Junior Cycle Profile of Achievement (JCPA) on completion of 3rd year. We believe this promotes the importance of Physical Activity as part of a healthy lifestyle in the lives of our students and enables them to choose to make physical activity a part of their lives into adulthood. We are constantly striving to include new activities in our PE curriculum and this year we intend to add Tennis, Rounders and Pickleball to the already long list of activities our students partake in.
