Studying French in the Curragh Community College, students will learn about French vocabulary, grammar and culture. Emphasis is placed on communicative skills and students are encouraged to use French as the language of the classroom as much as possible. Technology (la technologie) is very much a part of our class and students will learn to use applications and programs such as Duolingo, Padlet, Plickers and Microsoft Teams to aid their learning. As part of discovering French culture, every year the French students go to the Riverbank Arts Centre in Newbridge for a screening of a French film (un film). C’est fantastique, non?
