The Yellow Flag Award is a nationwide programme that supports primary and secondary schools to become more inclusive of all cultures and ethnicities, celebrate diversity and challenge racism and discrimination. Last week, five students from 3rd year and TY travelled to Dublin to collect the school's new Yellow Flag award. We were one of just 13 schools nationally to receive this prestigous acknowledgement of our interculturalism and efforts against racism.
This award was challenging to achieve, and the workload was immense. It simply wouldn’t have been possible without the support of all the students and teachers who engaged in activities, completed surveys, and promoted the programme. We are proud to be a Yellow Flag school.
