A selection of our 2nd, TY, LCA1 and 6th year students embarked on anovernight camping adventure this week. The group of students set out on an exhilarating 8.5km hike along the Wicklow Way, carrying all their belongings as they made their way to the campsite. During their adventure, they acquired the valuable skill of igniting a fire with a flint, skillfully prepared and cooked their dinner over the crackling campfire and relished the experience of sleeping beneath the twinkling stars at Lough Dan. The return journey from Lough Dan to Lough Tay proved to be a challenging hike, spanning 6km uphill. The students persevered with their belongings strapped to their backs, as they made their way to our designated pick up spot.
Congratulations to all the students! Your exceptional leadership, camaraderie and resilience were truly outstanding and shone brightly throughout the entire trip.
