This week we mark Healthy Eating Week on our wellbeing calendar. It is a chance for our school community to focus on our food choices and aim to make one small change, Across the week, some classes will focus on lessons with a healthy eating theme. We are also taking it as an opportunity to reinforce our 'Water Only School' initiative which highlights the importance of choosing water over high sugar and energy drinks. We have 5 keep messages of the week which are - drink more water, eat more fibre, eating your 5 a day, to consider alternative protein sources and to make one small change based on the weeks learning. We are also beginning our annual OT challenge where staff and students commit to logging their walking and running tallies over a 5-week period.
