Wednesday 21st January was a historical day for our school as our students took on Dunamase College from Portlaoise in the Leinster Senior League Boys Final in Kilcullen.
We could not be prouder of our Senior League Soccer Team and their outstanding performance in the Final. Every player showed incredible skill, heart, and commitment from the first whistle to the last.
Throughout the game, the team demonstrated remarkable grit and determination, refusing to back down and staying firmly in the fight. Their dominance in the first half was clear for all to see, as they showcased excellent technique, intelligent play, and true teamwork on the pitch.
Over the past two years, this group has grown tremendously, both individually and collectively. Their improvement has been exceptional, and reaching this stage is a testament to the hard work they continue to put in.
Although the final didn’t go our way, their journey is far from over. The team remains firmly in the running for silverware as they prepare to meet their next opponents in the upcoming Leinster Shield match. We are behind them every step of the way and look forward to seeing them continue to rise.
Well done to all involved, we are truly proud.
