On the 28th of April the second years of Curragh Community College went to Kilkenny, we took a bus to Kilkenny Castle and got a tour of the
building, there were many paintings and big rooms, it was really fascinating to see how people lived so many years ago, there were
spiral staircases and faces carved into the walls, it was an eerie but fun experience.
After our tour of Kilkenny Castle, we went to McDonald’s to build up our energy for the next activity, Splat-ball, and assault course!
Afterwards we went to the Kilkenny Activity Center and did Splat-ball, when we finished the splat-ball we did a long assault course that for
sure wore us all out, and because we were so warm, we went on a water slide!!!!
When we returned to the bus, it was clear the exhaustion had got to some people as some even fell asleep! It was such a wonderful yet tiring experience.
I hope we do something like this again!
